Tula region increased sour cream production by 4.4%

In 2025, the Tula region produced 5.6 thousand tons of sour cream, which is 4.4% more than a year earlier. The corresponding statistics are provided by Tulastat.

According to TSN24, 15.3 thousand tons of cottage cheese and 225 thousand tons of flour were also produced in the region last year.

Earlier in February, Izvestia wrote that Russia had recorded a record oversupply of raw milk — by the end of 2025, 73.5 thousand tons of unsold product had accumulated in the warehouses of farmers. This is 9% more than a year earlier.
