Four people were killed in the crash of a helicopter of the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the province of Isfahan in the center of the country. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on February 24.

"An Iranian army helicopter on Tuesday (February 24. — Ed.) crashed at a fruit market," the article says.

It is specified that the aircraft crashed into a grocery market in the city of Dorce Piaz, killing four people: two pilots and two merchants.

The article emphasizes that due to the sanctions imposed against Tehran after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran has lost the opportunity to buy spare parts for machinery. In this regard, the technical condition of part of the country's fleet is in poor condition.

Four days earlier, a military fighter jet of the government Air Force also crashed in the Iranian province of Hamadan during a training flight. The pilot died as a result of the tragedy. The circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
