A Russian record for the height of a pancake tower has been set in the Sunny District of the Khabarovsk Territory. In the village of Solnechny on Shrovetide, a stack of pancakes turned out to be 3 m 91 cm high.

The head of the district, Sergey Semenov, told about this in his Telegram channel. He thanked Geoprominvest LLC for organizing the celebration and supporting the idea of setting a new national record. Semyonov expressed special gratitude to the residents of the district who helped in the preparation of pancakes.

IA AmurMedia clarifies that Maslenitsa celebrations were held in all districts of Khabarovsk. The organizers prepared traditional Russian amusements, master classes and contests for the guests and residents of the city.

Earlier, on February 21, it was reported that a traditional fire show was held in the Nikola-Lenivets Art Park in the Kaluga Region, concluding the celebration of Maslenitsa. The large-scale installation "Dark Forest" became a symbolic bonfire this year. The 20-storey high art object consisted of 16 tree towers and a maze. According to tradition, the organizers staged a fiery performance: they lifted the heart with the help of a crane and set it on fire, after which the flame gradually engulfed the entire structure.
