Broadway Moscow has released a trailer for the musical Valentine's Day
The romantic comedy about a young couple facing difficulties after a year of cloudless relationships became a favorite of the audience on Valentine's Day: on February 14, the musical was played to sold-out audiences at the Maska Theater (MDM) four times in a row in one day, which became a theatrical record. On the occasion of this event, Broadway Moscow released a bright and dynamic new music video featuring several of the production's hits.
According to the plot, the ideal couple on the way to the cherished "happily ever after" for the first time faces serious questions that they do not yet know how to solve. But everyone knows: countless relatives, friends, colleagues, and even exes rush to help with unsolicited advice, which only makes the situation worse. It seems that the whole world is sure that it is better for lovers, but the characters themselves will have to figure out their own feelings – and at the same time try not to go crazy from the importunity of "well-wishers."
The musical "Valentine's Day" was created by the team of theatrical producer Dmitry Bogachev ("The Phantom of the Opera", "Chess", Mamma Mia!, Chicago, "Fear Nothing, I'm with You", "The Last Tale"), which included director Anna Shevchuk, choreographer Irina Kashuba, composer Evgeny Zagot, artist-directed by Alexander Sivaev and videographer Asya Mukhina.
Together with the musical "First Date", "Valentine's Day" makes up an original theatrical series about different stages in a relationship: it's best to watch both, but each one is a complete story individually. The first is about the acquaintance of the characters, the second is about how lovers preserve themselves and love when it seems that they are meeting not only with each other, but also with the entire environment of their half.
