Peskov: The Kremlin does not make decisions on blocking messengers

Measures regarding the Telegram messenger are being taken on the territory of Russia by authorized bodies. This was announced on February 24 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"The Kremlin is not authorized to make decisions on the expediency or inexpediency of blocking the messenger, this is not part of the Kremlin's function. This is part of the function of the relevant departments that do the work they should do," he said.
