Farewell to Shortparis soloist Nikolai Komyagin took place in St. Petersburg.
On February 24, a farewell ceremony was held in St. Petersburg with Nikolai Komyagin, the lead singer of the band Shortparis. Izvestia showed the footage.
The funeral service of the artist was held in the Cathedral of the Feodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God. Many people gathered to say goodbye to the artist — relatives, colleagues, fans and friends of the musician.
Earlier it was reported that the singer will be buried at the Smolensk cemetery.
Marina Kosukhina, the manager of Shortparis, announced Komyagin's death at the age of 39 on February 20. Kosukhina did not specify the cause of death of the musician. Komyagin was born in Novokuznetsk. He received a liberal arts education, was interested in philosophy and contemporary art.
