Medvedev: SVO fighters can enter the EU without visas, as in 1812 or 1945.
Despite the threats of the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, to ban the issuance of Schengen to Russian military personnel who took part in the special operation, fighters can still visit this zone without visas. This was announced on February 23 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.
"What a loss for our fighters! Well, they can enter there without visas if they want. Like in 1812 or 1945," he wrote in a message to MAX.
Medvedev also congratulated the men on Defender of the Fatherland Day.
Callas said at the same time that the European Union intends to ban all participants in the special military operation from entering Europe.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on February 21 that Callas' current plans to "defeat Russia" resemble the failed ambitions of Napoleon and Hitler.
