Tel Aviv is ready for any scenario in a possible confrontation with Tehran. This was announced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Parliament on February 23.

"We are ready for any scenario. <...> And we will stand united and resolutely against any threat," The Times of Israel newspaper quoted him as saying.

In addition, the Prime Minister warned that Israel is facing "difficult days."

On February 18, the Axios portal reported a high probability of a military clash between the United States and Iran. It was noted that the Israeli government is aiming at regime change in Tehran and is already preparing for military operations.

On February 17, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei urged not to pre-empt the outcome of negotiations with the United States on issues related to the Iranian nuclear program, noting that this was unwise. He noted that such initiatives are actually aimed at forcing Iran to renounce its terms.
