According to the agency, the attackers contact the Russians via messengers and offer to join a supposedly communal chat to exchange relevant information. This is how they try to gain the trust of potential victims.

After being added to the correspondence, scammers request personal information under various pretexts. In particular, they may ask to confirm personal data, referring to the need to recalculate utility bills.
