A scandal broke out in Ukrainian Sumy due to a large-scale party organized for employees of local law enforcement agencies, special services and military enlistment offices. This was reported on February 23 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"A scandal is gaining momentum in Sumy because of a party that was arranged for local police officers, the Shopping center, the administration, the SBU, the National Guard and other persons released from mobilization," the source told TASS.

He also noted that local residents complained about the use of backup energy capacities and unprecedented security measures during the event. It is clarified that no document checks were carried out at the party, which allowed "criminal evaders" to be present there.

The situation in Sumy is unfolding against the background of harsh methods of mobilization in other regions of the country. According to the source, cases have been recorded in Vinnytsia and Odessa when local residents tried to recapture men from shopping mall patrols.
