On February 23, the press service of the Dodo Pizza fast food chain reported that the company would pay for the maintenance of a dog in a shelter, for which a courier was fired in Chelyabinsk.

"Yesterday we called the shelters and pet stores in the city. Several shelters have already responded, and they are currently searching for and capturing the dog. Whichever shelter she ends up in, we will take care of her maintenance: examinations and treatment before she is placed in," they wrote on the network's Telegram channel.

At the same time, Dodo noted that they had planned to part with the courier even before the situation with the dog arose, but did not disclose the details. The company added that it is important for them to place both standards and humanity.

"Threats and harassment are not an option, even if emotions overwhelm. No one deserves personal insults and harassment," the Dodo stressed.

She threatened the workers that they would "stay outside" with the dog if they hid her. Mikhail sheltered the dog in the cold and was fired.
