Lukashenko: descendants of Nazis intend to form a "fist to throw to the East"
The heirs of the Nazis once again want to make an attempt to form an armored fist for a throw to the east. This was announced by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on February 23.
"We see this firsthand today, when the heirs of the Nazis are once again trying to form an armored fist on the borderlines of our native Belarus to throw themselves eastward. We all know, monitor and understand this," the Belarusian leader said in a congratulatory message on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day and the Armed Forces of the country, which was published on the website of the head of state.
Lukashenko stressed that a state with a modern, mobile and well-equipped army is capable of opposing the aggressor.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said on February 19 that Ukrainian neo-Nazism poses a threat not only to the local population, but also to the entire world community. According to him, Russia sees that leaders in a number of countries are returning to Nazi practices, but this has "blossomed" most vividly in Ukraine.
