The Russian Consul recommended that Russians in Mexico exercise caution

Due to the unrest in Mexico, Russians should stay away from crowded places and exercise caution. This was stated on February 23 by the head of the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Mexico City, Yakov Fedorov.

"We are closely monitoring the situation around the crime surge in individual states. We have not yet received any direct appeals from Russian citizens, and we are keeping this issue under control. We give general recommendations: avoid crowded places, exercise caution and stay away from possible attack sites," he told TASS.
