Private Donskoy delivered ammunition to the positions of the Russian Armed Forces under mortar fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Private Alexander Donskoy was assigned the task of delivering ammunition to the positions of the paratrooper company, but on the way the soldier's car was attacked by mortars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the special military operation zone on February 23.

Donskoy's transport was damaged by mortar fire. The breakdown made further movement impossible, but it was necessary to deliver the cargo to the position. The soldier, risking his life under the ongoing fire, carried out repair work. The car was on the move again, and the private managed to leave the area of fire. The ammunition was delivered to the Russian military on time, which allowed them to successfully resist the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the bravery and dedication of Senior Sergeant Nikolai Isaev, who commanded the assault unit holding the previously captured stronghold from attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to regain their lost positions.

The enemy launched two counterattacks using mortars and artillery, but both attempts failed. Isaev commanded his unit competently, and with the beginning of close combat, the Russian military inflicted significant damage to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Isaev also directed Russian artillery fire, which eventually forced the enemy to retreat.

On February 22, the Russian Defense Ministry reported how Junior Sergeant Roman Bykov, as part of the crew of an infantry fighting vehicle, participated in a clash with the enemy, despite artillery fire and a drone attack from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
