Russian tourists told about arson attacks amid riots in Mexico

Russian tourists in Mexico are watching arson on the streets of the Latin American country amid riots. They informed Izvestia about this on February 22.

"There are arson attacks everywhere: shops, cars, buses. The military drove down the street and advised everyone to take shelter in their homes. The city was deserted. There is no transport," said tourist Mikhail.

Criminals commit arson even at airports. In this regard, all flights were canceled.

Riots have spread across several states. At the moment, there is no information about the affected citizens of the Russian Federation.

"A message from friends from different parts of the city that gunfire is heard. <...> Based on communication in Russian—speaking chat rooms, there are no reports of casualties among Russian citizens at the moment," added tourist Daria.
