Iran and Russia allegedly concluded a deal on the acquisition of man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) by the Islamic Republic in the amount of 500 million euros. This was announced on February 22 by the British newspaper Financial Times (FT).

It is specified that we are talking about the supply of 500 Verba MANPADS and 2.5 thousand missiles for them over three years.
