The bodies of a woman and a child were found in a ravine near the village of Podgorodnaya Pokrovka in the Orenburg region. This was reported on February 22 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Orenburg region.

"Investigators are conducting a detailed inspection of the scene, appropriate examinations have been appointed, and a set of measures is being carried out to establish all the circumstances and causes of the incident," the department's Telegram channel says.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). The UK staff will provide a legal assessment of all the established circumstances.
