Russian airlines have completed the planned program of outbound flights from Cuba. This was reported on February 22 in the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

"Today, at 17:27 Moscow time, a Rossiya Airlines plane from Varadero landed at Sheremetyevo Airport, completing its final flight as part of the program launched on February 13," the agency's Telegram channel says.

The final flight was carried out as part of the program, which started on February 13. In addition to Rossiya, the airline Nordwind participated in the transportation of tourists.

In total, the carriers operated nine flights from Varadero, Havana, Cayo Coco and Holguin airports to Moscow. During this time, almost 4.3 thousand passengers were delivered to Russia.

On February 11, tourists were advised to refrain from traveling to Cuba due to the critical fuel situation. Organized tourists could count on alternative vacation options, postponement of travel dates, or a refund. Travel agencies were advised to suspend the sale of tours until the situation normalizes.
