The French Foreign Ministry will summon the American Ambassador Charles Kushner, who is the father of the son-in-law of US President Jared Kushner, because of statements about the death of far-right activist Quentin Deranck. This was announced on February 22 by the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Jean-Noel Barraud.

"We will summon the US Ambassador to France, as the American Embassy <...> has commented on this tragedy, <..."concerning French society," he said.
