The Federation Council outlined the conditions for the appointment of an old-age insurance pension

To receive an old-age insurance pension in 2026, you must have at least 15 years of official work experience and at least 30 retirement points, which applies to women aged 59 and men aged 64. This was announced on February 22 by Natalia Melnikova, senator, former head of the Social Fund department in the Pskov region.

"At least 15 years of work experience is required — it must be an official job for which the employer has paid contributions to the Social Fund of Russia. It is also necessary to have at least 30 individual pension coefficients," Melnikova said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to the senator, the amount of pension depends on the number of official experience and accumulated points.
