One of the opposition leaders, Eshsou Kakalia, was wounded in Abkhazia

The former deputy Prosecutor General of Abkhazia and one of the leaders of the opposition movement "Aidgylara" Eshsou Kakalia was taken to the republican hospital with a gunshot wound. This was reported on February 21 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Abkhazia.

"The operational staff of the Moscow Department of Internal Affairs has been alerted, and an interception plan has been announced," the ministry said.

According to the Interior Ministry of the republic, the shooting occurred in one of the restaurants of the capital. Interior Minister Robert Kiut ordered the most expeditious investigation. The situation is under the personal control of President Badra Gunba.
