The organizers of the OI did not allow Gumennik and Petrosyan to perform a joint act

The International Skating Union (ISU) has banned Russian figure skater Adelia Petrosyan from performing at the final gala show of the 2026 Olympics in Milan along with her compatriot Peter Gumennik. This was reported on February 20 by the newspaper Sport-Express.

The Russian Figure Skating Federation negotiated with the ISU, but the organizers found it impossible to perform such a joint event. Humennik was not included in the list of male participants in the demonstration performances, although figure skaters sometimes invite other athletes for their numbers.
