Israel has a biblical right to almost the entire territory of the Middle East. This was stated by the US Ambassador to Israel, Michael Huckabee.

During an interview in Tel Aviv, a journalist asked Huckabee about his attitude to the idea of a "Greater Israel," referring to the 15th chapter of Genesis, which describes God's dialogue with Abraham about the gift of land "from the Nile to the Euphrates." Carlson clarified whether Huckabee agrees with the idea that Israel has the right to claim the lands of the Middle East, including present-day Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, as well as parts of Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

"It would be great if they took everything. But I don't think we're talking about this today," he told American journalist Tucker Carloson in an interview published on February 21 on his Youtube channel.

Huckabee later stated in the same interview that Israel currently has no plans to seize these territories.

During a December meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on February 15, American Leader Donald Trump declared his readiness to support possible Israeli attacks on Iran's ballistic missile program. The American leader promised to support Tel Aviv in case Washington and Tehran fail to conclude an agreement.

In October last year, Maria Zakharova said that Russia hoped to refuse to approve bills on the extension of Israeli sovereignty to the West Bank of the Jordan River, otherwise it would lead to a new escalation in the Middle East.
