Changes in traffic regulations and the procedure for first aid in case of an accident have been taken into account, the use of distance learning technologies and an increase in driving hours are envisaged," Govyrin said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He added that driving schools are required to update their programs under the new bill.

On February 17, State Duma deputy Alexander Yakubovsky announced that a driver's license could be revoked for epilepsy, severe mental disorders, serious visual impairments and other conditions that could lead to loss of control of the car.
