- In South Ossetia, children of the military congratulated the participants of the SVO on Defender of the Fatherland Day
Children of military personnel of the military base of the Southern Military District in the Republic of South Ossetia congratulated the participants of the special military operation on Defender of the Fatherland Day as part of the All-Russian military-patriotic campaign "Letter to a Soldier". This was announced on February 21 by the press service of the Southern Military District.
It is noted that the children made postcards and wrote letters to the Russian fighters with words of support and gratitude for dedication, heroism and bravery. The children also wished the servicemen a speedy return home safe and sound.
Most of the children's fathers or other relatives are in their home country, where they perform various combat missions.
"We have works that we did in our circle, there are also works and letters that go in another circle. We will collect all the works later, and add additional drawings from another circle," said Dina Abulkhayeva, head of the Fantasia children's circle.
According to Abulkhayeva, her husband, being a member of his own organization, received similar postcards, letters and fakes himself. He even kept many of them.
She added that children's work raises the morale of Russian fighters.
Activists of the Western Administrative District (ZAO) of Moscow intend to collect humanitarian aid for Defender of the Fatherland Day to be sent to the free zone. Workshops on making postcards "Kind letters to your friends" will be held in Nikulino Park on February 15 and 21. In the Fili children's park, congratulations for the SVO fighters will be written during the "DIY gift to a hero" classes on February 15, 21 and 22.
