The State Duma made a proposal to increase the pre-admission of medical workers
Deputies from the Fair Russia faction in the State Duma proposed to increase additional paid leave for medical personnel, taking into account seniority. This became known on February 21.
The corresponding letter was sent by the party's leader, the head of the Duma faction, Sergei Mironov, and the chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, Public and Religious Associations, Yana Lantratova, to the head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko. The document is available to RIA Novosti.
The letter states that it is advisable to consider the possibility of amending the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 20, 2021 No. 2365 in order to establish a differentiated duration of annual additional paid leave for medical workers, depending on their continuous length of service in their positions in state or municipal medical organizations.
Mironov said that it is proposed to establish the following terms of additional paid leave: for seniority from 3 to 10 years — three calendar days, from 10 to 15 years — ten calendar days, from 15 to 20 years — fifteen calendar days, and for seniority of 20 years or more — twenty calendar days.
"The implementation of this approach will strengthen measures of non—financial incentives for medical workers, reduce the risks of professional burnout, increase staff retention in the industry and, as a result, help achieve targets to reduce staff shortages and increase access to medical care," the party leader is quoted as saying in the publication.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on February 18 that the country would improve the system of remuneration for medical workers, as well as improve the quality and accessibility of medical care for citizens.
