The UBK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on "breakthroughs" in Telegram by foreign call centers

Probiva's services were used by foreign call centers in the Telegram messenger. This was announced on February 20 by the Department for the Organization of the Fight against the Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies (UBK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"The simplest and most widespread way to obtain personal data is through the so—called probiva services. Most often, these are Telegram bots, which can be used to illegally create a "digital portrait" of the victim. <...> It has been established that such services were actively used by foreign call centers," the department's Telegram channel says.
