Athletes from the Czech Republic will not participate in the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Italy. This was announced on February 20 by the press service of the country's Paralympic Committee.

"Our representatives will not be present at the opening of the Games in Verona, we will not have flag bearers in Cortina d'Ampezzo, and we will not remove the athletes' appeals that were supposed to be shown at the ceremony," the text of the statement is quoted by Sport-Express.
