New flight will be launched from Chita to Gorno-Altaysk

A new subsidized route Chita — Gorno-Altaysk will be launched in the Trans-Baikal Territory on June 6. Flights will be operated once a week — on Saturdays, the press service of the regional government reports.

The journey time will be about three hours. The plane departs from Chita at 13:35 and arrives in Gorno-Altaysk at 14:50. The return flight is scheduled for 16:05, landing in the regional center at 21:05.

According to ChitaMedia news agency, four more new flights are planned to be launched from the capital of the region in 2026: to Kemerovo, Abakan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

Earlier it was reported that almost 470 million rubles are provided in the budget of Transbaikalia to support air transportation in 2026. Most of the funds will be used for internal communication.
