Over the past year, more than 3 billion rubles in fines have been collected from corrupt officials. This was reported on February 20 by the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP).
"As a result of the measures taken, 6.3 billion rubles of criminal fines were collected, of which more than 3 billion rubles were for corruption—related crimes," the report says.
It is noted that over the past year, more than 130.6 million enforcement proceedings were in service. At the same time, the total amount of penalties in all cases amounted to 1.4 trillion rubles, of which 242 billion rubles were in favor of citizens, and another 664 billion rubles were in favor of organizations.
In addition, 110.3 billion rubles were recovered from those who did not pay alimony. As noted in the report, this amount turned out to be 18.3 billion more than in 2024.
Bailiffs also collected fines from employers who did not pay salaries to employees. Of the 81.6% of enforcement proceedings, the amount amounted to 7.6 billion rubles.
According to the VTsIOM Analytical Center, published on February 17, the overwhelming majority of Russians (78%) assess the problem of non-payment of child support as serious for the state. Analysts emphasize the growing public demand for government intervention in resolving this issue. In particular, 73% of respondents support the initiative to create a unified register of debtors.
