"A strike on the territory of a city school is an act of outright barbarism. Nothing is really sacred to them: they are hitting residential areas, hospitals and educational institutions, including near a nuclear facility," Balitsky wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of the region noted that such actions show not only the opponents' lack of common sense, but also moral guidelines. In addition, he called the only guarantor of the safety of the Zaporizhia nuclear power Plant (NPP) Russian military personnel who protect the plant from direct hits and ensure its regular operation.

"The Kiev regime is currently the only carrier of nuclear danger to the station," Balitsky added.

On the same day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a drone strike on the territory of school No. 4 in Energodar, where 600 children and 100 employees of the educational institution were staying. The drone hit a tree in the courtyard of the educational institution, after which an explosion occurred. The facade of the building was damaged, there were no casualties.
