Lada 2107 has lost its leadership in the Russian secondary car market

By the end of January 2026, the Kia Rio model became the bestseller on the secondary car market in Russia. At the same time, Lada 2107, which for a long time consistently occupied the first place in the sales ratings, immediately dropped to the sixth place. This follows from the statistics of the analytical agency Autostat, which Izvestia reviewed on February 24.

In January, the circulation of Kia Rio on the "secondary market" amounted to 10.1 thousand copies, the second line of the model rating was taken by Hyundai Solaris with an indicator of 9.8 thousand units. Compared to January last year, both models showed an increase of 26%.

The third is the Ford Focus (8,300 units). This was followed by four Lada models: 4x4 Niva and 2114 (8.1 thousand units each), the aforementioned 2107 (7.8 thousand units) and 2170 Priora (7.7 thousand units). Toyota Camry (7.2 thousand units), Volkswagen Polo (6.8 thousand units) and Lada 2190 Granta (6.7 thousand units) rounded out the top ten.

The highest increase in resales by January last year was recorded at Volkswagen Polo — by 36%. At the same time, Lada 2107 has the highest drop — by 22%.

As reported on January 27, the Lada 2107 sedan became the most popular model among used passenger cars by the end of 2025. 142.3 thousand copies of the Seven were resold in the secondary market of the country.
