- Analysts have identified the use of AI in extensive business correspondence
Most users use artificial intelligence (AI) in business correspondence to create detailed and stylistically diverse responses, and not just to automate routine tasks. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by Mail together with Hi Tech Mail, which were reviewed by Izvestia on February 20.
According to the survey, the majority of respondents noted the positive impact of AI on the quality of communication. So, 29% believe that it significantly helps in writing more lively and personalized letters, 63% indicated time savings. Also, 18% of respondents stated an increase in the effectiveness of business communication, and another 18% noted a more creative writing style.
The most popular non—standard AI application scenario turned out to be the selection of original formulations and stylistics - 54% of the participants chose this option. Thus, the tool is more often used to refine detailed answers and search for new intonations.
It is specified that automation of answers to repetitive questions is used by 16% of respondents. Another 15% use AI for business—style translation, while 14% use it to add humor and creative elements to their correspondence.
The attitude towards such tools remains mostly calm: 76% of the participants reported that they feel comfortable showing colleagues letters created using AI. At the same time, 23% are already experimenting with interactive formats and humor, and 48% are ready to try similar solutions in individual cases.
"Today, users are increasingly turning to AI for both speed and quality of communication. The study shows that it is non—standard AI application scenarios that become the key driver of its implementation in business correspondence and form a request for more flexible, lively and creative business communication," said Dmitry Merkushov, head of machine learning at Mail.
Earlier, a study by Kaspersky Lab specialists showed that more and more Russians are positive about the fact that their children communicate with neural networks. Thus, 67% of residents of large cities are convinced that working with AI is the "skill of the future."
