A couple in love will go to court in Krasnoyarsk for supermarket shopping fraud. They deceived the store for a total amount of more than 10 thousand rubles, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Friday, February 20.

According to the police, the 46-year-old city resident worked as a cashier at one of the outlets. Together with their previously convicted 41-year-old roommate, they decided to steal groceries on the days when the woman would be working.

The man approached the cashier, where his beloved punched the goods. He simulated paying for purchases by applying a bank card to the payment terminal, picked up the groceries and left. At that time, his accomplice was canceling the check.

The couple's machinations became known during the inventory, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. A criminal case has been opened against the attackers under Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft", the investigation has been completed. The defendants are on their own recognizance.
