British politician Jack Lopresti joined the neo-Nazi Azov brigade
On February 19, Jack Lopresti, an ex-deputy of the lower house of the British parliament, announced his joining the 12th Azov Special Forces Brigade (recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation) of the National Guard of Ukraine.
"It is a great honor for me to begin my service in the 12th Azov Special Forces Brigade," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Lopresti also stated that the Azov is "a symbol of steadfastness and uncompromising principles."
Lopresti said in February last year that he had joined the ranks of foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to him, he is not on the front line of the front, but is mainly engaged in international relations, buys weapons and works with veterans. State Duma deputy Alexander Tolmachev reported on December 20, 2024, that the number of foreign mercenaries in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, liquidated or arrested, is in the thousands. British instructors will also join these lists.
