"Relations between Russia and Uzbekistan are consistently developing through strategic partnership and alliance, demonstrating steady positive dynamics in the trade, economic and investment spheres. The high level of mutual trust and practical interaction allows us to count on achieving the goal set by the leadership of our countries to increase trade turnover to 30 billion US dollars by 2030 through the expansion of industrial cooperation, the implementation of joint investment projects and active business dialogue," emphasized Anton Kobyakov.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, in turn, noted the country's interest in further developing bilateral cooperation and participating in key international business events.

"The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is a significant international platform for the exchange of views, the development of business contacts and the promotion of joint initiatives between Russia and Uzbekistan," said Botirjon Asadov.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the SPIEF is used as an applied working platform for the development of partnerships, the presentation of investment projects and the organization of a dialogue between representatives of government, business and the expert community.

The parties discussed Uzbekistan's participation in SPIEF 2026, including the formation of a business and cultural program, the use of the opportunities of the Roscongress International Business Communication Zone, as well as holding joint events on the sidelines of the Forum.
