Small businesses are adapting to the tax transformation, said Andrey Pasechnikov, executive director of the Gruzovichkof service, in a conversation with Izvestia. A company representative is already observing the changes through the real operational decisions of clients or partners.

"When the workload changes from 3% to 8-9% of revenue, it's not just a line in the report — it's a need to review pricing, optimize processes, or reallocate resources," the source said.

According to him, businesses with a transparent accounting model adapt faster. It is more difficult for those who relied on simplified modes without deep analytics — they need time and expert support.

Pasechnikov warned about the risks of raising salaries for the sake of benefits, specifying that an increase in the wage fund faster than productivity growth puts business owners in front of a choice between maintaining staff and financial stability. At the same time, successful companies invest in automation and retraining, increasing efficiency, he noted.

The expert predicted a rise in the price of services and goods from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for consumers, noting that this is a natural, but not instant effect.

"First, the business exhausts its internal reserves. If the pressure increases without support, the choice will fall on the customer: price, quality or scale," explained the representative of the service.
