REN TV will show the TV version of the anniversary concert of the Chaif group on February 20

On February 20, REN TV will present a television version of a large-scale concert dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the legendary rock band Chaif. The anniversary tour "Wave of Simplicity" covered 40 cities, including Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg and Moscow, where the concert gathered more than 10 thousand spectators.

"Since we don't have any computers, pads, or anything recorded, it's all happening here and now. I think I'll watch the concert with you on REN TV and understand what the mood was," said the band's leader Vladimir Shakhrin.

According to him, each concert is unique and does not repeat the previous one. The shooting was carried out by dozens of cameras to convey the unique atmosphere of the anniversary show. Not only new songs were played from the stage, but also hits that are impossible not to sing along to — the legendary "Oh" and the story of the Jamaican football drama, which Chaif turned into Russian reggae.

"Sometime in the early 90s, girls came up to us and said: "This is a song about me and my mom!" Now beautiful adult women come up and say: "I know, this song is about me and my daughter," the band leader shared.

Chaifa's fans are devoted fans, many of whom follow the band around the country, sporting vests, hard hats, bandanas, and orange paraphernalia.

"The Chaif group is our life. This is the heart of the people who love him," Nelly Dmitrievskaya shared.

The TV version of the concert will allow the whole country to join the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the band and experience the atmosphere of the anniversary show.
