The Pentagon auditors emphasized the superiority of the Russian Armed Forces over the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Auditors from the Pentagon, the US Department of State, and the Agency for International Development and Assistance (USAID) have stated that Russia's Armed Forces are superior to Ukraine's Armed Forces. This was stated on February 19 in a report sent to the American Congress.

"Years of intense fighting have severely depleted the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which remain poorly prepared to repel the tactical offensives of the Russian troops. As of December, the Russian army maintained an overall advantage over the Ukrainian Armed Forces in key military functions," the document says.
