A criminal case has been opened into the disappearance of a helicopter carrying people in the Amur Region. This was announced on February 20 by the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department of Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICUT of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation).
"The Trans-Baikal Investigative Department for Transport of the Eastern Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety and aircraft operation rules, resulting in the death of two or more persons)," the department's Telegram channel said.
It is noted that the helicopter has not been contacted, and its location has not been fixed. Search and rescue operations and other necessary investigative measures have begun.
