Military personnel undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the P.V. Mandryk Central Military Clinical Hospital received awards from the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chief of the Main Military—Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Army General Viktor Goremykin. This was announced on February 20 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The servicemen who showed bravery and bravery during the special military operation (SVO) received state awards, including the Order of Courage, medals for Bravery and For Bravery.

"It is difficult to find a family in Russia today that is not involved in the defense of the Fatherland. To one degree or another, take many, fathers, grandfathers, grandmothers, fought during the Great Patriotic War. The whole country is proud of you!" emphasized Goremykin.

He also congratulated the awardees on behalf of Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.

The medical staff of the hospital were awarded medals "For help and mercy" from the defense Ministry.

In honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day, which will be celebrated on February 23, a concert was held for military personnel and medical personnel, at which the Honored Artist of Russia, singer Yuta, performed.

Together with Goremykin, Colonel-General Vasily Volkov, Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the International Union of Public Organizations of Veterans (Pensioners) of Independent States, and Lieutenant-General Rafael Timoshev, member of the Public Council at the Russian Ministry of Defense, arrived at the hospital to award the servicemen.

On January 24, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation talked about Sverdlovsk chef Egor Sultanov, who received three medals for his participation in his program. He worked in the profession for 23 years, including 17 years as a chef.

On December 17, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces who took part in the liberation of Seversk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). He thanked them for their courage and called them true patriots.
