The cost of the most expensive license plate in Russia amounted to 2.1 billion rubles. This became known on February 20.

To date, 16 car license plates are worth more than this amount for each one. One of them has been on sale since 2023, the others since 2024 and 2025.

Such numbers have codes for regions such as Moscow, the Republic of Adygea, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Dagestan.

According to RIA Novosti, the seller sets the price for the license plate himself.
