Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces told about the release of a hospital in Zaporozhye

The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces told how they liberated the village of Krinichnoye in the Zaporizhia region. The Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of the work of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the special military operation zone on February 20.

During the battles for the liberation of Krynichny, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost the personnel of the unit of the 225th separate assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russian military personnel also destroyed two armored combat vehicles, two drone control points and five hexacopters.

The gunner-operator with the call sign Yary said that during the assault he and his comrades always stayed in touch, the commander monitored the situation every minute.

"We came in from the right flank. We gained a foothold and entered the house. The enemy is fighting fierce battles and clinging to every piece of land. They mostly have drones too, just like we do. But always, when you contact the commander, you keep in touch, he guides and sees," the serviceman shared.

The commander monitored aerial threats using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), instantly warning of the approach of enemy drones.

The shooter with the call sign Angarsky told how he participated in the storming of the AFU dugout. The enemy was firing from cover, and it was difficult to get closer. Angarsky turned out to have gasoline with him, and he decided to set fire to it. As a result, the bunker was burned to the ground.

The Russian military also noted that after the retreat, the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers tried to return to the outskirts of Krynichny to make a video with their flag and make a false statement that the territory had allegedly been defended. However, such enemy movements are promptly monitored from drones and suppressed by Russian attack aircraft.

On February 19, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published footage of the liberation of Magdalinovka in the Zaporizhia region. Units of the 328th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment of the 104th Guards Airborne Assault Order of Suvorov and Kutuzov division from the Dnepr group of forces took control of the settlement.
