Petrosyan announced her desire to compete at the next Olympics
On February 20, Russian figure skater Adelia Petrosyan shared with Izvestia her feelings after performing with the free skate at the 2026 Olympic Games (OI-2026).
According to her, she was unhappy with her rental, although she doesn't want to dwell on it.
She added that together with the trainers she planned more complex content and, of course, trained two quadruple sheepskin coats. When asked by journalists about the reasons for the unsuccessful execution of the quadruple jump, Petrosyan noted that she did not know for sure the reasons.
At the same time, the Russian figure skater is determined to compete at the next Olympics.
"I'll probably appreciate it as an experience for the next start. Hopefully, before the next Olympics. <...> I hope that my fuse will not run out," Petrosyan said.
She added that she felt support from the stands.
"I heard everything that was shouted, how our friends supported me...> Russian-speaking viewers. <...> And, of course, it's nice because people have come from all over the world to support us. Therefore, thank you very much," the athlete said.
