Since the beginning of the special military operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have lost more than a million soldiers. This was stated on February 19 by the first Deputy chief of the General Staff Rudskoy in an interview with the newspaper of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation "Krasnaya Zvezda".
"In 2024 alone, the number of killed and wounded in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 590 thousand soldiers. And since the beginning of its history, this figure has exceeded one million people," said Rudskoy.
