In Birobidzhan (Jewish Autonomous Region), the renovation of Lyceum No. 23 has been completed by 85%. This is reported by the city hall.

According to Mayor Alexey Kuzmin, the contractor is currently engaged in plastering and painting and laying linoleum on the ground floor. As part of the renovation project, specialists have already installed new heating and power supply systems in the building, replaced windows and doors.

During the work, it also became clear that the lyceum needed to replace the internal partitions in the classrooms and the roof truss system. Additional plastering work, renovation of the auditorium stage, and artistic wall tinting were also required. All this led to a lag behind the original schedule.

To date, the readiness of the facility is 85%, writes IA EAOmedia. The authorities note that the contractor is doing everything possible to complete the work as quickly as possible.

The renovation of Lyceum No. 23 in Birobidzhan is carried out within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children". The renovation of the institution is also included in the master plan and the long-term plan for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the city.
