Mercedes driver Antonelli showed the best lap in Formula 1 pre-season tests

Mercedes Formula 1 driver Kimi Antonelli showed the best time on the second day of the second stage of the pre-season tests in Bahrain.

The athlete covered the distance in 1 minute 32,803 seconds. McLaren driver Oscar Piastri was in second place in terms of speed, while Red Bull's Max Verstappen from the Netherlands was in third place with 139 laps.

The new Formula 1 season starts in Australia with the first stage, which will be held from March 6 to March 8.

On February 13, Antonelli showed the best time on the third and final day of tests in Bahrain. His best lap was 1 minute 33.669 seconds. Antonelli's teammate George Russell took second place, 0.249 seconds behind, while Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton took third place, 0.540 seconds behind.
