The media reported on the Lithuanian mercenaries who refused to train.
Seven mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from Lithuania refused to participate in a training session in a special military operation area, fearing imitation of a real battle. This was reported on February 19 by the publication El Mundo.
It is noted that 14 Lithuanian volunteers were accepted for training in combating drones and conducting evacuation under fire — they were divided into two equal groups.
"The first group was given a training session simulating real combat operations to test their capabilities to the limit. After seeing this, seven Lithuanians from the second group refused to participate," the publication says.
On February 19, Russian military personnel launched an accurate artillery strike on a temporary deployment point (LDP) of foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. According to Russian law enforcement agencies, the enemy suffered losses as a result of the strike.
