A plan to dismantle a shopping center near the Primorskaya metro station has been approved in St. Petersburg. This was reported on February 19 in the press service of the city property control committee.

They noted that the owner of the facility had applied for the voluntary release of the site.

"Following the consideration of the petition, an agreement was reached and a bilateral roadmap was signed providing for the phased dismantling of the facility," 78 TV channel quoted the statement as saying.

At the end of December last year, work began in St. Petersburg on the demolition of the SunDay Ginza restaurant by court order. It was clarified that the site on which the facility is located had previously been leased to create a beach complex, but the contract did not provide for the right to erect capital structures and was subsequently terminated. Despite this, the former tenant continued to illegally use the territory.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
