Forecasters predicted warming in Moscow over the holiday weekend

During the holiday weekend, from February 21 to February 23, a gradual increase in temperature and snow are forecast in Moscow. On February 20, Yandex Weather forecasters told Izvestia about this.

It is specified that on Saturday, February 21, clouds with clarifications and light snow in the morning are possible. In the morning, the temperature will be -8 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to -4 degrees, in the evening it will rise to -3 degrees, and at night it will return to daytime values.

"In the cities of the Moscow region — such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo — the temperature will be close to Moscow, there may be differences of 1-2 degrees. Weather conditions will be similar to those in the capital," forecasters said.

Cloudy weather is expected on Sunday, February 22, with light snow in the afternoon. In the morning, the temperature will be -5 degrees, during the day and at night the thermometer will show -3 degrees, and in the evening it will briefly warm up to -2 degrees. In the Moscow region, the temperature background and weather conditions will be similar to those in Moscow.

Cloudy weather with snow will remain on Monday, February 23. In the morning and at night the temperature will be -3 degrees, and in the afternoon and evening the air will warm up to -2 degrees. Residents of the Moscow region should also expect precipitation, the temperature will be set at the Moscow level.

Polar disorder: The frosts will be replaced by a thaw in the capital region.

In Central Russia it will warm up to +3, and in Siberia the temperature will drop to -23 degrees

Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the Hydrometeorological Center department, said on February 18 that, despite the snowfall, severe frosts are not expected in the near future, although the temperature will remain below zero.
